Cannon Balls II is an aim and shoot game. It's like the old bubble game but twisted a little. You have rows of descending balls falling down on your cannon. These balls have glue on their surfaces, so they will stick to each other when they touch one another or even when they pass near each other. When three similar balls are attached, they will disappear, and with them all hanged balls that aren't attached to any other ball or to the ceiling.

Your goal is to prevent the balls from reaching the limit-line at the bottom. You have to be fast enough or new balls will appear. The ball will bounce off the wall.If you were able to clear the screen even before the end of the level, then you will get a BOOM. When you get a BOOM, you will be automatically moved to the next level, and you will win all the points of the remaining rows doubled. So your temporary goal would be always to get a BOOM as fast as possible.
